Eric Holder, Obama, The New Black Panthers and Dept. of Justice Corruption
By Gary Starr for the Neville Awards July 14, 2010
The Obama administration is not a government as we have been taught to understand. It is, increasingly, looking like some toxic stew of Black Panther/ Liberation Theology/Nation of Islam ideology driven by racism and wealth redistribution. Independent voters, democrats with buyers remorse and normal people increasingly see Obama as operating primarily in the interests of minority voters.
Let's look at the evidence.
Early on there was the curious case of Obama friend and Harvard "professor" Henry Louis Gates and the Cambridge Mass. police. Despite the lack of facts initially available regarding police brutality, Obama concluded that the police "acted stupidly."
When the facts eventually came out that Gates had acted inappropriately to police inquiries the President tried to buy everyone off with a couple of cans of beer. Gate's lawyer in this case was former "Old" Black Panther member, now Harvard "professor" Charles Ogletree. More on Ogletree later.
In February 2009, on the occasion of Black History Month, Attorney General and terrorist enabler Eric Holder called the United States a "nation of cowards" regarding discussions of race even as his department was failing to prosecute one of the clearest cases of voter intimidation in American history because the defendants were black militants, members of the New (and vastly improved) Black Panther Party.
On Election Day 2008, Panther party members "King" Samir Shabazz, Malik Zulu Shabazz and Jerry Jackson (Jerry, why no fancy name for you?) engaged in "activities" that resulted in charges of violating the Voting Rights Act through intimidation, threats and coercion They stood outside a Philadelphia polling place with the intent of preventing white voters from voting and telling black voters they had better vote the "right way". The Panthers, dressed in paramilitary garb, one brandishing a nightstick, were saying things like, "You are about to be ruled by the black man, cracker!"
The video of the election day event, photos and witness testimony presented an open-and-shut case ripe for DOJ prosecution and under President George W. Bush the DOJ filed criminal charges against the three men. Holder's Justice Department dropped the charges in a plea deal in which the Panther "youts" promised not to do it again in Philadelphia until 2012, just before the next presidential election. They are now free, which is odd because they claim to still be "oppressed" by the Man...but Barack Obama is the Man.
From Investor's Business Daily:
At an April 23, 2010 Civil Rights Commission hearing, witnesses testified to how the Black Panthers acted in concert, threatening black Republicans and whites who showed up. Two witnesses testified that they saw some would-be voters turn back and leave without voting after seeing the nightstick and being called "white devils."
J. Christian Adams, a former career DOJ attorney in the Voting Rights Section resigned over DOJ's handling of the Black Panther case and DOJ's refusal to honor Civil Rights Commission subpoenas, including ordering Adams not to comply. Adams gave the testimony his bosses tried to block, telling the Civil Rights Commission how Holder's department refused to prosecute what he has called "the clearest case of voter intimidation that I've seen since practicing law."
Adams told the Commission that DOJ officials "over and over and over" showed "hostility" to prosecution of voter intimidation cases involving "black defendants and white victims."
Adams says that Associate Attorney General Thomas Perrelli, an Obama political appointee, overruled a unanimous recommendation for continued prosecution by Adams and his associates.
On a sidenote video of King Samir has surfaced with him waxing about his love for the white man and their babies in a 2009 National Geographic documentary:
"I hate white people...every last iota of a cracker. We didn't come out here to play this game. There's too much serious business going on in the black community to be out here sliding through South Street with white dirty cracker whore [ BLEEP ] on our arms. And we call ourselves black men with African garb on. What the hell is wrong with you, black man? You had a (unintelligible) with a white girl on your damn arm. You want freedom? You are going to have to kill some crackers. You might have to kill some of their babies.
In another sidenote New and Improved Black Panther 'Emperor' Malik Shabazz is on record praising Osama bin Laden for the great job he did on 9/11.
The left is always wringing their hands about imaginary violence from the right, especially from the Tea Party. It seems that the real threats, as we have documented elsewhere in the site, always come from the Left. The Tea Party is being baited with tacit approval from Team Obama.
At the latest NAACP convention there was Michelle Obama, once again, lamenting over black inequality at the hands of the "oppressor" She was seen hanging out with...wait for it...Charles Ogletree. Yes, the same Charles Ogletree of the Old and Tired Black Panthers and the Heny Louis Gates case. It turns out that Ogletree and the Obamas are way tight. Charles Ogletree is a long time friend and mentor to both Michelle and Barack Obama.
Ogletree has a long history of leftist radicalism going back to his days at Stanford and Harvard.
Ogletree: "I met Michelle when she started her legal career here at Harvard in the fall of 1985, and I was able to watch her develop into a very strong and powerful student leader. She was an active member of the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau, where she served as a student attorney for indigent clients who had civil cases and needed legal help. I met Barack three years later when he arrived at Harvard Law School in fall of 1988."
And for the icing on the cake the NAACP, at this same convention, has passed a resolution condemning the Tea Party as racist. Now that's visionary. They brought up the old and discredited saw of racial epithets hurled at black congressmen the day ObamaCare passed. The resolution calls on "all people of good will to repudiate the racism of the Tea Parties, and to stand in opposition to its drive to push our country back to the pre-civil rights era," said Anita Russell, head of the Kansas City chapter of the NAACP. "We need to realize it's really not about limited government. We oppose 'tax cuts' which is code for racism." Didn't blacks get a tax cut too?
Curiously the NAACP failed to note the Panther voter intimidation or the attack by Obama's favorite union, Service Employees International Union (SEIU) on Kenneth Gladney, a black man, who was working as a vendor outside an Aug. 6, 2009, town hall forum called by Rep. Mel Carnahan, D-Mo., at Bernard Middle School in Mehlville, Mo. Gladney was punched in the face and pummeled by individuals wearing the purple T-shirts of the SEIU.
But why let facts get in the way of ideology. It's time to gin up that minority vote for the November elections.
Finally there is the Holder lawsuit against the state of Arizona and it's new illegal immigrant enforcement law….designed to get the Hispanic vote in November. It is beginning to dawn on Hispanics that Obama has thrown them under the bus regarding amnesty so the lawsuit is a bone being thrown to them. The cynical joke in Washington these days "illegal alien is really code for undocumented Democrats."
A post-racial post-partisan president indeed. The folks who bought that load of crap during the campaign were duped. We now have radical Panther/Liberation/Islamist ideology inside the White House and the mainstream press is, at this late date, STILL covering for this clown.
