Chancellor Sir Thomas More, during the reign of King Henry VIII, refused to publically acknowledge the King as
"Supreme Head of the Church of England". His silence on the matter cost him is freedom and, ultimately, his head.
During his trial More cited the maxim "Qui tacet consentiret" or Silence Gives Consent as his defense. The prosecution, in the person of Master Secretary Cromwell,
wasn't buying it and he convinced the jury that "this silence was, not silence at all, but most eloquent denial!"
Sir Thomas More: Not so. Not so, Master Secretary. The maxim is "Qui tacet consentiret": the maxim of the law is "Silence gives consent". If therefore you wish to construe what my silence betokened, you must construe that I consented, not that I denied.
Cromwell: Is that in fact what the world construes from it? Do you pretend that is what you wish the world to construe from it?
Sir Thomas More: The world must construe according to its wits; this court must construe according to the law.
[from the Robert Bolt play A Man For All Seasons]
Regarding Islamic Fascism the same maxim is in play. Not being lawyers, we at the Neville Awards must construe according to our wits.
The so-called "moderate" Muslim silence on Islamic Fascism is deafening and we must construe that "silence gives consent."
The same silence is emanating from Islam's enablers and 5th-column apologists on the left. They must be exposed and disgraced before we,
literally, lose our freedom and our heads.
The Neville Awards has, for the last year, been posting articles that chronicle the Islamic Virus that has infected and threatens
to bring down our civilization, both here in the U.S. and in Europe, which is on the verge of collapse.
We want to make it easy for you to access these articles so we are gathering them under one "roof", so to speak. They also appear as current article links on the left hand side of each web page and in the
Neville Archives and Features Archives sections. Many of these pages contain multiple articles. Remove all breakables from the room...monitor your blood pressure and happy reading.
On this page the Jihad Archives is organized in two categories: Jihad in America and Jihad in Europe. This is an evolving page and will be added to each time
an article is posted.
