Less than a month after being told by Donald Trump that she could keep her Miss California crown and, bowing to the gods of Political Correctness and the militant Gay Rights Movement, The Donald fired Carrie Prejean. K2 Productions, the independent producers of the Miss California USA pageant, cited "continued breach of contract issues" as the reason for Miss Prejean's firing.
And there is a bridge in Brooklyn... This firing is nothing less than an assault on free speech and one's ability to remain employed when speaking one's mind.
"This is about hating a black man in the White House. This is racism straight up. That is nothing but a bunch of teabagging rednecks." -- Garofalo and Tea Parties on the Olbermann Show |
"I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that's how I was raised." -- Prejean on Traditional Marriage at the Miss USA Pageant |
Undoubtedly under pressure from militant gay groups Miss Prejean was fired for the following comment at the Miss USA Pageant:
"I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that's how I was raised."
Now that's radical!! She should be hung from the neck, drawn and quartered, disemboweled and beheaded.
Per Fox News:
Prejean came under fire for her answer to a question about gay marriage two months ago in the Trump-owned Miss USA pageant, in which she was the runner-up. After the pageant, Prejean was continuously attacked as she defended her belief that gays and lesbians should not be given the right to marry in California. She became embroiled in more controversy when racy pictures of her were published that some construed as violations of her Miss California contract.
Trump came to her defense in a May 12 press conference attended by Prejean and Keith Lewis, calling her answer to the question "honest" and saying "we have determined ... that the pictures taken are fine." He allowed her to continue on as Miss California.
But it was Trump who gave the final OK to fire her, FOXNews.com has learned.
"I told Carrie she needed to get back to work and honor her contract with the Miss California Organization and I gave her the opportunity to do so," Trump said in the same documents. "Unfortunately it just doesn't look like it is going to happen and I offered Keith my full support in making this decision."

The Miss California USA Organization, in conjunction with the Miss Universe
Organization and with the blessing of its owner, Mr. Donald J. Trump, announced today
the termination of Carrie Prejean as MISS CALIFORNIA USA® 2009, citing continued
breach of contract issues.
"This was a decision based solely on contract violations including Ms. Prejean's
unwillingness to make appearances on behalf of the Miss California USA organization,"
stated MISS CALIFORNIA USA® Executive Director, Keith Lewis. "After our press
conference in New York we had hoped we would be able to forge a better working
relationship. However, since that time it has become abundantly clear that Carrie is
unwilling to fulfill her obligations under our contract and work together."
"I told Carrie she needed to get back to work and honor her contract with the Miss
California USA Organization and I gave her the opportunity to do so," said Mr. Trump.
"Unfortunately it just doesn't look like it is going to happen and I offered Keith my full
support in making this decision. Carrie is a beautiful young woman and I wish her well
as she pursues her other interests."
Effective immediately, First Runner-Up, Tami Farrell, will assume the role and
responsibilities of MISS CALIFORNIA USA®. Additionally, the Miss Universe
Organization will make reigning MISS USA®, Kristen Dalton, and MISS UNIVERSE®,
Dayana Mendoza, available to fulfill appearance requests which were previously declined
by Ms. Prejean.

We at Neville are having a hard time keeping a straight face. This meely-mouthed press release is a sop to pageant judge and gay activist blogger
Perez Hilton and his buddies in the Gay Rights Movement who clearly have some sort of bizaare sway in the beauty pageant world.
As with everything else that is going on the Age of Obama, we are through the looking glass...black is white and white is black.
Neville Update June 12, 2009
Carrie Prejean's successor is Tami Farrell who believes marriage is between a man and a woman.
Sez Farrell: “You know, I think it’s hilarious right now that the world is turning to beauty queens for the answers for this. I think it’s an important issue and I think that it’s one that I don’t think I can win a battle. I don’t want to be any more divisive than it’s already become.”
So screw you Perez!! Well, maybe not.... yechh!!
Neville Update June 17, 2009
MISS CALIFORNIA USA® Executive Director, Keith Lewis is.........gay. There is your bizaare connection with "Ms." Perez and the beauty pageant world. Why are gay men judging women in beauty contests?
Double yechh!!
